Our Family
Hello. I'm Dave Mennicucci. With my wife, Deborah, and our two sons, David and Eric, we've called the Outer Banks of North Carolina home for over 23 years. In 2006, I founded Hands of Gold, Home Improvements, in Kill Devil Hills, offering comprehensive services from the roof line to the curb.
The name of our company, Hands of Gold Home Improvements, stems from my grandmother's belief in my exceptional craftsmanship from a young age. Now, with our sons working alongside us, we continue to uphold that legacy of excellence.
Community Matters
Our family takes immense pride in our vibrant community here on the OBX! We're passionate about instilling the values of giving back to our children and showing them the importance of community involvement.
Through our partnership with the Outer Banks Youth Soccer Association, Hands of Gold has sponsored ten soccer teams.
Furthermore, our family proudly maintains Little Red Mailbox #12, Wesley's Mailbox, in Kitty Hawk, as Keepers. We've also contributed to our local community by constructing two bike racks for First Flight Middle School, which was made possible through generous donations from our Kill Devil Hills Lowe's store.

Additionally, each year, I orchestrate an extravagant Christmas light display in Kill Devil Hills featuring over 70,000 lights, where we collect donations to support local causes. For the past four years, we've directed our donations towards The Outer Banks Beach Food Pantry, aiding their mission to help those in need. We've also distributed our collections among other worthy causes, including the SPCA of Dare County, Cystic Fibrosis research, and Lifeline Outreach Food Pantry.
